How a job goes
Most jobs follow the same path, from the first call to the final walkthrough.
- You call or send a requestTell us what’s going on with the chimney and we’ll set a day to come out.
- We inspect and give you a priceWe explain what we found and price the work before we leave.
- You pick a dateFor larger jobs, half is paid up front for materials and you get an invoice for it.
- We do the workWe keep you posted if anything changes once the job is underway.
- Walkthrough and final paymentWe show you before and after photos. Once you approve the work, you pay the balance.
Work by season
Masonry and concrete need warm weather to cure, so we schedule work by season.
- Spring through fallTuckpointing, crown replacement, chimney rebuilds and other brick and concrete work.
- Late fall and winterLiners for furnaces, water heaters and fireplaces, plus cleanings before and during the burning season.

Service questions
Are estimates really free?
Yes. The visit and the estimate are free in most of the towns we serve. You get a clear price before you commit, and if we’re already there for a cleaning, we can give it to you on the same visit.
Do you repair and rebuild chimneys, or only sweep them?
Both. We’re masons as well as sweeps, so we handle tuckpointing, crowns and caps, liners and full rebuilds in addition to cleanings and inspections. The same crew that finds a problem can fix it.
Do you work with contractors?
Yes. A lot of our work comes through general contractors and other trades who need chimney and masonry work done on their jobs.
How do I pay?
By check or credit card. For larger jobs, half is due up front for materials when the job is booked, and the rest once the work is done and you’ve approved it.
