Chimney Liners questions
Why does a furnace need a liner?
Furnace and water heater exhaust is wet and acidic. In an unlined or clay-lined chimney it breaks down the tile and mortar over time. A stainless liner carries it safely out of the house.
Can you install a liner in winter?
Yes. Liners go in all year, and winter is when most of them are installed, since masonry and concrete work waits for warmer weather.
How do I pay?
By check or credit card. For larger jobs, half is due up front for materials when the job is booked, and the rest once the work is done and you’ve approved it.
