When do you do rebuilds?
Masonry and concrete work runs from spring through fall, while it’s warm enough for mortar and concrete to cure. Call in winter and we’ll inspect it and get you on the schedule.
What’s a chimney crown?
The crown is the concrete slab that caps the top of the chimney around the flue. It sheds water away from the brick. Once it cracks, water gets in and freezes, and the brick below starts to break down.
